Holly is a designer and illustrator based in County Durham. After graduating from the University of the Arts with a degree in Illustration in 2006, Holly worked in-house for a number of publishers including Transworld and Bloomsbury. While at HarperCollins Holly designed covers for bestsellers such as Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Babel and Her Majesty's Royal Coven. She was shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the British Book Awards 2024, the same year she began her freelance career.

Since going freelance Holly has begun developing her illustration style specifically for the children’s publishing market. An avid reader since childhood, Holly firmly believes in the power of good storytelling and with almost 20 years of design experience she understands the importance of creating an eye-catching and engaging visuals.
